Note: This is for 'Normal' difficulty and 'Historical' AI national focus trees options. Here is what I have so far, but I will be updating it as my knowledge base is improved by my own experience and anyone who contributes to the thread. Perhaps for newer players to HoI, or for more advanced people who just want to streamline their Germany campaign, I'd like to put together a guide for things like production, recruitment, research, national focus, etc, that helps enable the player to follow a mostly historical Germany route. So, here's what I hope will turn into a community-structured guide for Germany. One thing streams suffer from is an overload of information - you can be faced with a stream that's dozens or hundreds of hours long and you just don't have the time to watch through it until you get to that one nugget of information you needed.

I'd certainly *prefer* to have learned a lot of this stuff from a written guide, and I'm surprised to say I can't find any even after the game's release. I've been learning land and air combat along the way, as well as good ways to construct divisions and recruit optimal numbers of units. I've been doing both this past week, playing only as Germany and trying to get a firm grasp on ways to maximize your buildup starting in 1936. Watching streams or reading guides is how a lot of us learn this game, while others like to dive in and fool around until they get it.
